Bio

Marsha Renee has had an imagination her entire life! As a child she used reading as a way to escape and to dream but, as an adult, reading became a fundamental resource for wisdom and infinite possibilities. Though she has always had a love for writing, she earned a Master’s degree and built a career as an educator and counselor. Marsha Renee is a mother and a beloved grandmother who lives in St. Louis, Missouri. Through children literature and short stories, it is her hope to inspire her readers to seek out the precious memories, cherished moments, and those special meanings of life.

Five is only one of five (quintuplets) Clydesdales. They are all getting ready for the upcoming Pumpkin Patch Party. Five is struggling with his individuality and wants attention, doing silly things that irritate the other Clydesdales. By the end of the story, Five and the others learn what it really means to have family, friendship, forgiveness, and love. This book also brings remembrance to the history of Clydesdale horses and many of the staples and favorites that are known in St. Louis, MO.

Donation Initiatives

Five’s illustrator, Oxy Lysenko, along with Oleksandra Syzonenko, of Beytler Illustrations, are from the great country of Ukraine. In honor of these two amazing and talented women, it’s the will of Marsha Renee to give an offering to those in Ukraine to help rebuild such a strong community and culture.

Literacy is not only fundamental in the early developmental stages of a child’s learning, but it’s also full fun and wonder! Our support is needed here in the St. Louis Missouri region.

Currently, the book, ‘Five,’ has been submitted as a part of this initiative for literacy advancement, as well as in support of the children in the St. Louis, Missouri region.

5% of Five’s book sales for the first 5 months after release (July 1, 2023) will be donated to the war in Ukraine.

Businesses and organizations who would like to help enhance literacy by purchasing a bulk order will help put books inside a St. Louis elementary school of their choice.
